Bright MLS 101

When a seller decides to sell their home in Lancaster County, they first choose a Realtor to represent them.

When advertising homes for sale in PA, Realtors use a multiple listing service called Bright MLS.

Bright MLS is a database that only Realtor's can access. It is basically a super official "zillow." However, unlike zillow... Bright MLS listings are the most accurate and up to date listings on the internet. When you are in the market for a new home as a buyer, you will want to connect with an agent who can create a portal on Bright MLS for you. This will give you access to the newest listings as soon as they hit the market. 

When a home is listed for sale on Bright MLS, it is listed under one of the following statuses. Each listing status is defined below and has its own set of criteria that must be followed.
